According to a statement given to Zee Business, Crafton said in his statement that we are clarifying how BGMI has been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple Store and will issue a public statement once clear information is available. .



According to the report of Routers, a government circular has claimed that BGMI was sharing data with China, as a result of which the app has been removed from Google and Apple stores. Explain that under Section 69A of the Indian IT Act, the Government of India had banned 118 apps in the year 2020. BGMI has also been banned under the same act, although no official statement has come from the government on this.


BGMI, Indian version of PUBG

BGMI is the Indian version of PUBG, which was launched after the ban of PUBG. It was launched on 2 July 2021 for Android users and on 18 August it was launched in the iOS version.
