Many companies around the world use monochrome E-ink screens in their tablets. Amazon also uses E ink screen in its Kindle device. Recently a new e-ink technology — E-ink Gallery 3 — has also been announced, which can produce more color at higher resolution. Its refresh rate is also higher than before.

9-inch can be found folded screen

The new report by Ming-Chi Kuo does not say whether Apple will use this E ink screen on a 9-inch foldable device or whether it will be seen in a 20-inch foldable device.

Samsung has introduced many foldable devices so far, but this will be the first foldable device for Apple.
