Cheapest 5G smartphone in India: Indian smartphone company Lava International will launch 5G smartphone LavaBlaze 5G before Diwali for around Rs 10,000. Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav unveiled this mobile device at the India Mobile Congress on Monday. Mobile device experts claim that this phone coming under Rs 10,000 will be the cheapest 5G smartphone in the market.

The pre-bookings for the Lava Blaze 5G smartphone will start around Diwali this year. It is built on MediaTekDimensity 700 chipset. The smartphone will have a 50-megapixel triple rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. One of the most special features in this phone will be that it will automatically record anonymous calls. Anku Jain, Managing Director, MediaTek India, says that the aim of the new 5G smartphone is to make the new technology available to all.

Media devices expert Nikhil Chawla says that the Lava Blaze 5G will be the cheapest smartphone in India at around Rs 10,000. He said, "The price tag of Rs 10,000 or $125 for the Lava Blaze 5G makes it the cheapest 5G smartphone in India. The launch of such smartphones will help in bringing 5G to the common people in India. We did it with UPI and online payments, and now we will do it with 5G, as India is predicted to have the fastest 5G rollout in the world.
