Vaishnav said that the government has approved a relief package of Rs 1.64 lakh crore to get Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) out of trouble, but now the responsibility of empowering this company is on every employee
Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Friday asked the employees of loss-making state-run telecom company BSNL to pay attention to the consumers and solve their problems immediately. According to the news of PTI, Vaishnav said that the government has approved a relief package of Rs 1.64 lakh crore to get Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) out of trouble, but now the responsibility of empowering this company is on every employee.
It is important to stand with the consumers
According to the news, Vaishnav, who arrived in Chennai, told the BSNL employees that I stand with you completely. The Prime Minister is with you. Now you have to stand with the consumers. Every consumer is like a god. Whatever problem the consumers face, it should be our problem. And there should be an effort to solve it immediately. Pay attention to your consumers.
Hoping to give positive results
Even before this, the Union Minister has asked BSNL employees to pay attention to the performance in a warning tone. Vaishnav had said last week that employees who do not think of working can take premature retirement.
At that time Vaishnav had said that every week I will assess the key performance indices, performance and results. Those who do not want to work, they can take Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS) and go home. However, the Telecom Minister (Ashwini Vaishnav) hopes that the employees with their hard work will put BSNL in a position to give positive results in the next 24 months.
