Chinese smartphones ban: After the ban of Chinese apps in India, now preparations have been made to ban some mobile phones of Chinese smartphone companies.
Chinese Smartphones Ban: The Indian smartphone market is preparing to end the dominance of Chinese smartphones. The government is going to ban the smartphone costing less than 12 thousand. This is likely to give a boost to domestic smartphone companies. India wants to ban Chinese smartphone makers from selling devices below Rs 12,000, which will hit many brands including Xiaomi Corp.
These companies have less share in the Indian markets
Domestic companies like Lava and Micromax account for less than half of India's smartphone sales. There are many reasons behind banning the smartphone. The smartphone industry of our country is making less profit in front of these Chinese brands and this step is being taken to empower them. Exclusion from the entry-level market in India will result in major losses for Xiaomi and its other companies.
Which brands of phones can be discontinued
If India takes this decision, then it may affect those people who have phones of Xiaomi, Vivo, Oppo (OPPO) and Realme (Realme) brands. If you are an Apple or Samsung user, then this decision of India i.e. smartphone ban will not make any difference to you.
ED raids Chinese mobile companies
India is already investigating Chinese firms operating in the country, such as Xiaomi and rivals Oppo and Vivo. These companies have been accused of tax evasion and money laundering.
