Creators on Facebook will get 20% of the revenue generated through in-stream ads on videos longer than 60 seconds.

According to the company's blog post, the company has brought music revenue sharing feature on Facebook. Through this, creators will get an opportunity to use music from major music artists like Post Malone, Tove Lo, Grupo La Cambia, Leah Kate, Bicep, which are present on the licensed music catalog of the platform. Meta and song rights holders will get a separate share.

Meta has claimed that this feature is the first feature in the music industry. No platform has now offered such a revenue model for creators. The music revenue sharing feature for creators already approved for the platform's revenue tool has started from Monday. The company said in a blog post that Facebook will help creators access popular music while creating videos and strengthen the relationship between the music industry with its fans.

Music Revenue Sharing is being started in collaboration with Right Manager. Creators will be able to protect and manage their content through video, audio and image-matching tools. This new tool has been rolled out globally for video creators. Eligible videos will be monetized in the US through in-stream ads. The company said that the company will expand this tool in the coming month.


Facebook had announced to introduce tabs
